Some Motion Graphic Experimentation

For my Motion Graphics and Animation class. Experiments and practices. I know I might as well go ahead and do my assignment instead of practicing, but hey, practice makes perfect. Will be looking forward to doing my assignments. Will post them up here when I finish with them. It’s too bad I can’t do any Motion Graphics when I’m in Brunei. =\ Laptop ain’t powerful enough I guess.

NOVEMBER 2009….

Its already November, two more months to new year…can u imagine how fast does time flies..? =D It was like i juz started taking my advanced diploma yesterday {which was bak in june O.O}, thn NOW its NOVEMBER..? Hope u guys have a great one & im sooo sooo sorry for the delayed greetings for u guys in here…but i have already greeted u guys on facebook as early as i can liaw…but as for here i almost forget liaw…whn i woke up this morning i baru tot “aye…i think i have forgotten something wery wery important” but how can i forget it..? i oso dunno…maybe here dont have the birthday alert or stuffs liddat soo will forget or im juz too busy cooking spags for my family and spending the whole day out in the living room~ =D

Red & Blue : Toyota & Subaru, the FT-86 & 086A

The FT-86 is a concept car manufactured jointly by Toyota and Subaru unveiled in 2009 Tokyo Motor Show. It is expected that the Toyota and Subaru versions will be be styled similarly on the outside, with the Subaru version getting different head and tail lights and a different hood. It has a 2.0 liter boxer engine mated to a Subaru 6-speed manual transmission though it’s not mentioned if it is normally aspirated or force inducted. Here’s what the two companies said in a joint statement about the coupes in April 2008:

“Toyota Motor Company (TMC) and Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI) – Subaru’s parent company – are to jointly develop a compact rear-wheel-drive sports car that will be marketed by both TMC and FHI.”

“The compact rear-wheel sports car to be jointly developed by TMC and FHI is envisioned to offer a new “fun to drive” experience based on an all-new vehicle platform powered by an FHI core-technology horizontally-opposed engine. Market introduction is targeted for the end of 2011. Production is to take place at a new plant to be built at FHI’s Gunma Manufacturing Division in Japan’s Gunma Prefecture. TMC will consign production to FHI.”

We’re not saying that AWD or even more plausibly, a turbocharged version, are out of the question, but we won’t take anything for granted until we see an official statement or better yet, a concept version from Subaru that will give us an idea of the company’s intentions.

The only thing that we can be sure about now is that Subaru will market its own version of the coupe. If it will be available in all markets or if Subaru will offer the option of AWD and/or a turbocharged engine is something that remains to be seen.

Although the toyota’s version (although still under ‘Concept’) is finalised, it’s quite impressive how the render looks like for the Subaru version, really hope this is the one, but kinda doubt it =/

Another rendering of how the Subaru version might look like, this one seems to be more similar towards the Toyota version. a close brother if u will.

But sadly, this might be the result for Subaru’s version.. or just a prototype like they say it is.. Let’s hope not.

Songs for Jay Chou’s new album already written, delayed for the first time.

Every October Jay Chou releases his new album, it’s now nearly November, besides news about him being in “The Green Hornet”, there’s no news about his new album at all. But reporters have found out, the songs for Jay Chou’s new album have already been written, in next few days his recorder Gary Yang will fly to Las Angeles to help Jay Chou record his new album. But because of the busy schedule of filming and opening a new restaurant, Jay Chou’s new album will be delayed for the first time.

Yesterday reporters found out, the release date for Jay Chou’s new album still has not been set, fans will have to wait patiently. “The songs are actually already written, he is working with Vincent Fang and persisting with his past style. But recently he has been busy with filming, there’s no concrete timeframe of when it will be recorded, the company will not rush him.” The JVR Music staff told the reporters this. Reporters have found out that in the next few days, Jay Chou’s recorder Gary Yang will be flying to Las Angeles to produce the album.

This is the first time Jay Chou’s new album has been delayed indefinitely, it is indeed surprising. According to reports, besides being busy with filming, he has placed a lot of his efforts into his own restaurant. After opening dessert house “Mr. Qute” in July, his fourth restaurant is in preparation. Even though he is in Hollywood filming “The Green Hornet”, Jay Chou is remote controlling the preparations for the restaurant everyday from America. According to reports, he intends to make the store in American style “D Topic Restaurant”.

Quick Update

Larrie will be out of touch for a while, he probably won’t have internet connection until he moves into his new house, or drop by either my place or Roger’s. Lol, site is almost dead (or already dead) but I figure I’ll do a quick update. Whoever is free should update the site. *cough Big Thing cough* Update the rest of us here (in KL or overseas) on what you guys been up to, whatever events, who bought new stuff, etc. You DO have a phone with a camera function, so pictures would be nice.
